Daily Quests vs Dungeons: Which Is Better for Early Progress?
When starting out in Solo Hunters, many players ask the same question:
Should I focus on Daily Quests or Dungeons for faster early progress?
The short answer is: you should do both, but for different reasons. Here’s how they actually compare in the early game.
Daily Quests: Stable and Low Risk
Daily Quests are designed to give consistent progress with very little effort. You usually complete them in safe or familiar areas, and they don’t require strong gear or perfect builds.
For early players, Daily Quests are great because:
- Rewards are guaranteed
- Difficulty is predictable
- They don’t punish mistakes
They are especially useful if you have limited playtime. Logging in, finishing your dailies, and logging out is still meaningful progress.
However, Daily Quests usually have a daily limit, so they can’t carry your entire progression on their own.
Dungeons: Faster Growth, Higher Pressure
Dungeons are where most fast leveling and gear upgrades happen. They give more experience and better drops per run, especially if you can clear them efficiently.
Early-game dungeons help you:
- Learn enemy patterns
- Understand skill timing
- Improve combat positioning
The downside is that dungeons are less forgiving. Weak gear, poor skill usage, or rushing in too early can slow you down or cause repeated failures.
Which One Should You Prioritize?
For early progress, the best approach is simple:
- Do Daily Quests first to secure easy rewards
- Spend the rest of your time in Dungeons
Daily Quests give stability. Dungeons give acceleration.
If you skip Daily Quests, you miss free progress.
If you skip Dungeons, your growth will feel slow.
Best Early-Game Strategy
A strong early routine looks like this:
- Log in and return to the main hub
- Pick up all available Daily Quests
- Complete them quickly
- Use remaining time to run dungeons
This balance keeps your progress smooth without burning resources or time.
